Natura Viva’s Nuuksio Haukanpesä base is located in the heart of the national park, at the starting point of the most popular hiking routes. Nuuksio National Park is a wonderful outdoor destination that you can reach by car or by regional buses in the Helsinki metropolitan area. At our Haukanpesä base on the shore of the idyllic Haukkalampi, we rent open canoes, SUP boards and rowboats for water activities, as well as fatbikes for nature outings.
Cafe Haukka and the Haukanpesä sauna – food and sauna after your outdoor day!
Next to Haukanpesä you’ll also find Cafe Haukka, where you can pick up snacks, drinks and ice cream for hot summer days. Top off your national park experience with the Haukanpesä sauna, which can be booked year-round for self-service use. During summer season you can also swim in Haukkalampi.
