The Tervajärvenkierros trail goes around beautiful Tervajärvi lake. You can experience rugged landscapes, peaceful lake views and old forests while hiking this trail. And if you are lucky, you might even see siberian flying squirrel hiding out at the aspens of Tukkiniemi.

Length: 15km
Suitability: 1-2 days for beginner or intermediate hikers
Difficulty: moderate (some elevation changes)


Sulkusalmi:  The Sulkusalmi strait connects Tervajärvi to Kymi.
Tukkiniemi: Tukkiniemi is one of the rare places in Repovesi that was saved during the old times of extensive logging.
Kuutinkanava: An old timber floating flume reminding us of the times when these forests were used for forestry and owned by Kymi-yhtiö.
