There is an open hut with a fire place as well as two metal fire places by the lake shore at Lapinsalmi. There is also a woodshed, a few tables and a shelter with more tables. A landing stage for canoes, a pier for the waterbus and a gravel bottom beach is there to be enjoyed by the visitors. A dry toilet is above the woodshed. There is plenty of room for tents.

Lapinsalmi is probably the most popular campfire place in Repovesi, because it’s on a beautiful spot near the suspension bridge and the parking place, and it’s on the Fox trail. This is also a popular destination for groups and travel businesses. Before the Kuutinkanava canal was built, this was on the timber rafting route to Vuohijärvi.
