World Heritage Site Verla

The Verla Groundwood and Board Mill is a unique, intact industrial complex dating from the early years of the Finnish wood processing industry. The whole is complemented by the workers’ housing and numerous other buildings in the area.

The cottages of Verla welcome you to experience the past! During the summer, about 70 people can be accommodated at Verla in cottages and cabins. All 13 places that are full of ambiance. All cottages are located within a walking distance from the mill museum.
